Office Building Restoration

Office Building Restoration

Overview

The existing diesel tank was removed from the nearly 14 foot deep planter, leaving an exposed concrete floor and walls. The office building relied on Technical Waterproofing to apply deck coating and elastomeric wall coating in the planter.
Technical Waterproofing first had to remove the existing and failed membrane by hand grinding all concrete surfaces down to bare clean concrete. Once prepped, It was realized that the deck was extremely uneven, and needed to be sloped to drain. Using an epoxy mortar, Technical Waterproofing sloped the large planter deck to slope towards new drains that were installed. Once sloped properly, the urethane deck coating was installed, and a silicone elastomeric wall coating was installed on the walls.
The project duration was 3 weeks long and ended in July 2019.
